About me

Growing up I had a very fun chemistry teacher. In the hopes of becoming a teacher myself, I decided to begin the study Chemistry in Enschede. That didn’t quite work out, time to look for something new. During secondary school I learned a bit about programming and the things you could do with it, since I was always busy with computers and hand-helds, I decided to switch to the study Computerscience. I quit after three months because I really did not like programming.

At this point I really had no idea what I wanted to do. I looked at the things that made me happy and quickly sorted to games. I have been gaming since I was little. I remember playing a ninja game on my sister’s Gameboy Advance. But it wasn’t until The Legend of Zelda on the Nintendo DS that I got really fond of gaming. From that point on you couldn’t separate it from me anymore.

I looked for a study where I could use my creativity and passion for gaming. That’s when I found the study Creative Media and Game Technologies. I immediately signed up and couldn’t wait for the year to start. I started the study with the idea of becoming a game designer, but my interest slowly shifted towards becoming a 3D artist. Now I like to do both. I really enjoy coming up and concepting ideas for games, but also love being able to use my creativity to create something in 3D.
